Greenfield Rehabilitation Agency (GRA) has a long standing foundation of clinical excellence in physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech-language pathology services. Under the guidance of the Director of Clinical Services and Program Development, GRA strives to be on the cutting edge of treatment interventions for the geriatric client. We provide and sponsor continuing education for our staff to expand their knowledge and develop their clinical skills.
Part of our commitment to excellence is our program Foundations of Function. This program is a series of monthly programs that focus on a particular common impairment in the geriatric population. Our comprehensive approach includes focused screening, customized in-services, and a wealth of training and educational tools for the therapy professionals to use and address the needs of the resident. The monthly program closely mirrors the quality indicators to ensure the facilities we serve are in compliance with OBRA (Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act) regulations.
Greenfield Rehabilitation Agency is also committed to progressive treatment interventions. Many of our Speech-Language Pathologists are certified in Vital Stim, an innovative treatment intervention to address swallowing difficulty. Other specialty programs include lymph edema management, falls and balance interventions, urinary incontinence, vestibular rehab and many other programs for geriatric and adult inpatient and outpatient clients.
